# Welcome to Opmaint

> Opmaint is a cloud-based CMMS that helps maintenance teams plan, track and record every job across their sites.

Opmaint is a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). It gives your maintenance team one place to log assets, raise and close work orders, run preventive maintenance, manage spare parts and buy what you need, from the desk or from a phone on the floor.

Teams use Opmaint in factories, retail chains and facilities. Whatever you run, the goal is the same: every job, reading and repair is recorded, so the knowledge stays with the site and not with one person.
