Create a Work Order

Create a Work Order

WEB:
  1. Navigate to the sidebar and choose "Work Orders."
  2. Then, click on "+ New Work Order."
  3. Input a title for the work order in the "What needs to be done?" section.
  4. Complete the remaining fields according to the instructions provided in the Work Order Fields.
  5. Finally, click on "Create" to save the new work order and include it in the queue.
MOBILE:
  1. Navigate to the bottom navigation bar and choose "Work Orders."
  2. Then, click on "+ New Work Order."
  3. Input a title for the work order
  4. Complete the other necessary fields as outlined in the Work Order Fields.
  5. Finally, select "Create" to save the new work order and place it in the queue.

WORK ORDER FIELDS

This portion provides instructions on completing a new work order. You have the flexibility to fill in all required fields during the initial creation or start with minimal information and make edits later. The title is the only mandatory field.

What needs to be done
Enter a title for the work order. You cannot create a new work order without a title.
Add or drag pictures
Attach images to the work order.
Thumbnails of any images you attach appear here.
Description
Add a detailed description of the work to be done.
Procedure
Add procedures to the work order. You can also preview and edit them.
Assign to
Assign the work order to one or more users or teams.
Due Date & Schedule
Due Date
Schedule
Set the Due Date.
After you set a Due Date, you can also set a Due Time, a Start Time, and a repeating Schedule.
Priority
Set the priority for the work order.
Location
Specify the location where the work will take place. You can choose from any of your organization's locations.
Asset
Specify the asset to perform maintenance on. You can choose from any of your organization's assets.
Files
Attach files to the work order. 
Parts
Add the parts required to complete the work order. You can choose any part configured for your organization.
Categories
Assign one or more categories to the work order.
Vendors
Add one or more vendors to the work order. You can choose from any of your organization's vendors.




Attach Pictures or Files

Attach one or more pictures or other files to work orders to provide additional information about the work that needs to be done.
