# Single sign-on (SSO)

> Let your team sign in to Opmaint with their existing company login.

Single sign-on (SSO) lets your team sign in to Opmaint with the company account they already use, instead of a separate Opmaint password.

Opmaint supports SSO with both **Google** and **Microsoft** accounts.

## Why use SSO

* **One less password** for your team to remember or reset
* **Central control.** When someone leaves, disabling their company account also closes their Opmaint access.
* **Fewer support requests** about forgotten logins, especially for technicians who sign in on shared or new phones

## Setting up SSO

SSO is configured with your IT team, since it connects Opmaint to your company's sign-in system. [Contact our team](https://www.opmaint.com/book-demo) and we will work through the setup with your IT administrator.

> [!NOTE]
>
> People who sign in with SSO still need an Opmaint user account with the right [role](/users-and-roles). SSO decides how they sign in, not what they can do.
