# Workflows

> Run several checklists in sequence, each stage with its own people and deadline.

A workflow runs several checklists one after another, with different people at each stage. For example: Repair, then Approval, then Closure.

You find workflows under **Workflows** in the left sidebar.

## Create a workflow

**1. Start a new workflow**

Click **Workflows** in the sidebar, then **+ Create Workflow Template**.

**2. Name it**

Enter a **Workflow Name** (required) and a **Description**.

**3. Set up the first stage**

* **Stage Name** (required): such as "Repair".
* **Checklist** (required): the checklist to complete at this stage. See [Checklists](/checklists).
* **Assign Users** and **Assign Teams**: assign at least one user or one team.
* **Due In**: how long this stage has, in **Days**, **Hours** and **Minutes**.

**4. Add more stages**

Click **+ Add Stage** for each next step. Drag stages by the handle to reorder them, or click the bin icon to remove one.

**5. Create**

Click **Create Template**.

## Use a workflow

Pick the workflow in the **Workflow** field when you [create a work order](/create-a-work-order).

## Manage workflows

The **Workflow Templates** page lists each workflow with its **Number of Stages** and when it was last updated. Use the **...** menu on a row to manage it, and **Export** to download the list.
