This article explains how to create a category and describes category form fields.
To add a new category, follow these steps:
Open the Categories Section:
Navigate to the categories section from your dashboard or menu.Click to Create a Category:
Select the option to create a new category. A pop-up window will appear.Enter Category Name:
In the "Title or Text" field, type the name of your new category. Choose a clear and descriptive name that indicates the type of items or work orders it will group.Enter Category Description:
Add a brief description that explains the purpose or contents of the category. This helps users understand what should be included in this group.Submit:
Click the "Submit" button to save your new category.
Your new category will now be visible in the categories list and can be used to organize items, work orders, or tasks.
