Types of fields in Meter creation page

Meter Title:
Enter a descriptive name for the meter that clearly identifies its purpose or what it measures. This helps users easily recognize and locate the meter in your system.

Asset:
Select the equipment or system that this meter is associated with. Linking the meter to an asset helps track performance, maintenance needs, and operational data for that specific piece of equipment.

Location:
Choose the physical location where the meter is installed. This information helps maintenance teams quickly locate the meter when readings or servicing are required.

Select Responsible Users:
Assign specific users who will be responsible for taking meter readings. These designated users will receive notifications and reminders to ensure consistent data collection.

Unit of Measurement:
Specify what unit the meter measures in, such as kilowatts, gallons, hours, or degrees. This ensures readings are interpreted correctly and calculations are accurate.

Min Range and Max Range:
Set the minimum and maximum values that the meter can display or that are considered normal operating ranges. This helps identify when readings fall outside expected parameters.

Due In:
Set how often meter readings should be taken by specifying the time interval in days, hours, and minutes. This creates a schedule for regular data collection.

Arithmetic on Meter Reading:
Enter a mathematical formula if the raw meter reading needs to be converted or calculated before being recorded. For example, you might multiply by a conversion factor or add an offset.

Precision:
Define how many decimal places should be used when recording meter readings. This ensures consistent accuracy and appropriate precision for your measurements.

Daily Calculated Readings:
Toggle this option to enable automatic calculation of daily usage or consumption based on meter readings. When enabled, the system will calculate differences between readings to show daily consumption.

Frequency:
This section allows you to set up recurring schedules for meter readings, ensuring data is collected at regular intervals according to your operational needs.
