Chat in Work Orders

The Chat feature in work orders allows assigned users to communicate directly within each work order, streamlining collaboration and keeping all relevant conversations in one place.

How It Works

  • Chat Access:
    Only users assigned to a particular work order can participate in its chat. This ensures discussions stay focused and secure, involving only those responsible for the task.

  • Real-Time Communication:
    Use the chat window to ask questions, share updates, upload images, or clarify details related to the work order. All chat history is saved for easy reference.

  • Notifications:
    Assigned users receive notifications whenever there’s a new message in the work order chat. This helps everyone stay informed and respond promptly to changes, instructions, or issues.

  • Activity Logging:
    All messages and activities are recorded in the Activities tab, creating an audit trail of the work order’s progress and communications.

By using the work order chat, your team can communicate efficiently, resolve issues faster, and maintain a clear record of all interactions related to each job.
