Taxes

Taxes are used on purchase order line items. See Purchase management.

Open tax settings

Click your organisation name at the top of the left sidebar, choose Settings, then click Taxes. The page has two tabs: Tax Rates and Tax Groups.

Companies based in India

Turn on My company is based in India to switch on TDS, TCS and GST compliance features for Indian tax law.

Add a tax rate

Tax rates are simple percentage taxes, such as VAT 5% or Sales Tax 10%.

1. On the Tax Rates tab, click + New Tax Rate.
2. Enter the name and rate.
3. Save it.

The list shows each rate’s Name, Rate (%) and Status.

Tax groups

Use the Tax Groups tab to combine tax rates that are applied together.
